LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) - Wednesday night was the first public showing of a new documentary about the nation's deadliest drunk driving bus crash. The viewing of "Impact" comes just one day after the 25th anniversary of that crash. Twenty-seven people were killed when a drunk driver going the wrong way on Interstate 71 hit a church bus. JCPC sends 41 layoff notices to teachers

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Jefferson County Public Schools have sent out layoff notices to 41 certified teachers in the system. School officials say they have to give notice by May 15 for the upcoming school year. Spokesman Ben Jackey says those layoffs are due in part to budget constraints, including a loss of federal funds. Last year there were no layoffs. Jackey did say JCPS is hoping to reinstate some, if not all of those teachers by the time school starts next fall. Jackey says it's possible more fund

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The passenger trains at the Louisville Zoo are moving again. The zoo has begun test runs for two new trains that will soon carry passengers. The trains come from the same company that provides trains for the Disney parks. This is a big first step for the zoo after the devastating train derailment that injured 22 people nearly four years ago.
