CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Troopers from the North Carolina Highway Patrol discovered a man dead in his vehicle down an embankment on the inner loop of Interstate 485 Monday morning. According to the Highway Patrol, they discovered the man's body and vehicle after responding to another accident in the area early Monday morning.
