      With taps playing, family and friends of Krystal Fitts, said a final farewell to the fallen soldier. Fellow soldiers carried the 26-year-old's coffin and then presented her family with the flag that represented her service to the country. White doves were released at the end of the ceremony to commermorate the young woman's life. Fitts was killed in Afghanistan when her outpost came under enemy fire on July 17. Fitts received a purple heart, bronze medal, and almost a dozen other awards for her 3 years

        AUSTIN -- An Austin man was charged with intoxication manslaughter for a fatal collision in 2012. Salvador Del Rio, Jr. died last August on FM 973 when an on-coming car swerved into his lane and the two collided. According to an arrest warrant signed Wednesday, the other driver 20-year-old Hector Eduardo Salazar had a blood alcohol level between 0.108 and 0.168. Salazar's bond was set at $50,000. He is not yet in custody.
